VIRALL Company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Jordan represented by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, to promote and support the university's entrepreneurial culture.
The memorandum was signed on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, by the CEO of VIRALL Dr.Osama Al-Shara and in the presence of the Director of Strategies Dr. Munir
Al-Hourani, and the Vice President for International Affairs, Quality and Accreditation Affairs, Dr. Zaid Eyadat, and in the presence of the Director of
the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Yazan Al-Zein and Dr. Lina Al-Hiyari and Mrs. Shira Mahasneh from the University of Jordan.
This memorandum signed between VIRALL and the University of Jordan came with the intention of contributing to bridging the gap between universities and the
business sector by supporting inventions, innovations and the results of applied scientific research through networking between researchers and investors, and
includes marketing and financing for advanced technological projects, and seeking to establish startup companies that advance creative ideas to global markets.
Dr. Eyadat stated that providing students with a distinguished learning and training experience and building stimulating and supportive bridges for creativity, innovation and leadership is one of the goals that the university constantly strives to achieve, and the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding is only a translation of that.
Dr. Al-Zein stated that the center, through these partnerships, seeks to spread the principles of pioneering leadership among students, and to provide the necessary technical, administrative, and financial support for ideas and projects concerned with innovation in the university and the local community in cooperation with the private sector to contribute to achieving sustainable development and linking the commercial, industrial, and service sectors at the university.
Dr. Al-Shara said, VIRALL aims to promote pioneering and creative thinking by creating a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the network of universities signed with VIRALL, whether it is at the level of students, researchers, or the university as an institution.
